Abstract

Join English 1120, as we take a look at several cultural issues affecting the American people, most problems directly relating to Warren St. John’s piece Outcasts United. As the fourth episode of Podcast United, the focus surrounds the impact of immigration and assimilation. Hearing several personal testimonies of migrating to America, we see the current day effects of immigration and the Super-Diversity it creates. With a view from the opposite side, we flip the story and find out what impacts are truly created upon the immigrant. Tune in to this episode and find why immigration creates such a huge culture change in America and the action needed to move forward.
