Abstract

This episode of Podcasts United, Table Talk, will be covering the spread of culture through food. We are also going to compare the city of Rolla, Missouri with Clarkston, Georgia as seen in Warren St John’s book, Outcasts United. We will share an interview that we had with some Brazilian students at an American style restaurant and their reactions to it. Also included are our reactions to a local Japanese restaurant. The emphasis that will be put in this episode is that culture uses food as a direct method to spread and that we should welcome this increase of diversity in our community.
