Effectiveness of Coal Comminution by High Pressure Waterjet
Abstract
The results of the work conducted on the coal response for high pressure waterjets attack are presented. The paper covers different types of waterjets such as: solid jets cavitating jets, and rotating jets and also the results of coal disintegration effectiveness. The concepts of the models of comminuting machines are presented. The coal disintegration in relationship to these models and the process efficiency based on energy consumption are discussed.
