Description
This particular piece is inspired by a composure by Raoul Vitale that depicts four cypress trees on an otherwise vast, sweeping plain.
While in the Dominican Republic, I met an artist who specialized in painting detailed landscapes on tile with nothing more than oil paints and his fingers. Through his guidance, I took this craft back home where I nearly painted my kitchen table a couple times while continuing to practice the techniques he showed me.
