Residential Demand For Liquid Petroleum Gas
Abstract
This is the first micro-based study of residential demand for liquid petroleum gas (LPG). The data are from DOE's Residential Energy Consumption Survey. Results are compared with elasticity estimates derived from the same data set for the three other main residential fuels. LPG has a price elasticity for space and water heating combined of -1.3. Income elasticity is 0.207. © 1984.
