Materials Disintegration by High Pressure Water Jet - Review of Recent Development
Abstract
The advantages of using high pressure water jets (hpwj) as a new technique for material disintegration are reviewed in this paper. Some of the results of water jet properties and parameters observed in disintegration are discussed with relation to selected materials. The experience built up during numerous projects conducted in the Rock Mechanics and Explosives Research Center (RMERC) at the University of Missouri-Rolla, USA is introduced. -Author
