Abstract
The Fibrous Monolith structural concept has continued to grow and mature in the last year. an ongoing partnership between the University of Michigan, Advanced Ceramics Research and Williams International has refined the laboratory-scale fibrous monolith process to the point where realistic service applications are being investigated. This paper will discuss the problems associated with the introduction of an innovative material to market, and ACR's strategy to seek rapid market acceptance.
