The Use of the Jominy End Quench for Determining Optimal Quenching Parameters in Aluminum
Abstract
The Jominy End Quench was used to calculate Time-Temperature-Property curves for 7075-T6 and compared to published data. A basic discussion of the Jominy End Quench and its relationship to the use of Quench Factors is illustrated.
