Refractory Ceramics at the University of Missouri - Rolla
Abstract
The University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR), Missouri's premier technological university, is a land grant university founded in 1870 as the Missouri School of Mines. Located in Rolla, a small town in central Missouri (refer to Figure 1), UMR has a student body of about 5,500, most of who are enrolled in the more than 20 engineering and science degree programs offered on campus.
