FIRE - Federation for International Refractory Research and Education

Abstract

The Federation for International Refractory Research and Education (FIRE) is a nonprofit organization established to promote refractory related research and education on a global level. Through this refractory related network of academic and industrial partners, FIRE will support international education and research opportunities at academic centers of excellence in the refractory engineering and science fields. Furthermore, the locations of the members will provide the additional advantage of an international education and research experience along with cultural exchanges that will better prepare the students for a global career.
