Masters Theses
Abstract
"The purpose of this thesis was the design and construction of a test ionization chamber which can be used in the teaching and research of several phenomena involving electrical breakdown of gaseous insulation materials.
Principal electrical discharge laws and effects, as well as their performance, are discussed as bases upon which the chamber was designed. The chamber presents the necessary characteristics for being used as a "multi-purpose" test chamber; in other words, it has the conditions for being used in the study of many electrical discharge phenomena"-- Abstract, p. ii
