Abstract

"The method of solution of the problem of determining the stress and displacement distributions around an unfractured circular hole subjected to nonuniform applied internal pressure located in an infinite plate is developed. Two problems are solved for two different representative boundary conditions. The problem of determining the stress distribution around a circular hole with two symmetric radial cracks subjected to nonuniform applied radial pressure located in an infinite plate is analyzed and developed for further solution"-- Abstract, p. ii
