Description
“Forest Box” is a glazed ceramic box. The concept for the box began with the flower texture, which was inspired by a series of pieces by UK ceramicist Kate Malone. The flowers and other elements were added to a slab built box which was then glazed in a dark palette to reflect the dark mystery of the forest. This piece won Best in Show at the Mineral Area College Art Exhibition.
