Description
This work is the second of a three part series of conceptual works, all involving the use of fire or very high temperatures in their construction. Being conceptual, the proportion, construction, and color of this work is the primary purpose of the work, and the first part of the making of this piece stresses the formal elements of painting over expressive ones. However, the introduction of fire into the piece causes it to become more expressive and organic than a traditional piece of the Formalist movement.
