Discussions providing broad perspectives on grand challenges for our society
The complex challenges that we face as a society must be approached from a variety of perspectives in order to find innovative, sustainable, and ethical solutions. Understanding the origins, contexts, constraints, and consequences of issues from technical and social points of view is critical for successful outcomes. By examining pressing contemporary concerns from various disciplinary perspectives, this lecture series offers potential avenues for collaboration to address some of the great challenges facing science, technology, and society.
Missouri S&T faculty bring their expertise to discussions of these current events and answer questions from the audience. Topics to date include the Russian invasion of Ukraine, COVID-19, and the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
This discussion series enables us to provide a Rapid Response to Current Concerns.
Missouri S&T Magazine (Special Collections)
The Miner Alumni Association publishes Missouri S&T Magazine to communicate and reflect the past, current and future interests of the alumni of the Missouri School of Mines, the University of Missouri-Rolla and Missouri University of Science and Technology. Missouri S&T Magazine is written, edited and designed by the staff of the Missouri S&T Marketing and Communications Department and the Miner Alumni Association.Production of the magazine was suspended following the Summer 2020 issue. A special edition of the magazine has been produced for Missouri S&T's 150th anniversary.
The Bridge Newsletter (Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Newsletters)
The Bridge Newsletter is produced twice a year to publicize recent activities, awards, events and research projects occurring in the Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Department. The Missouri Miner Newspaper
The Missouri Miner is Missouri S&T's Student Newspaper and has been documenting student life at the university since 1915, from Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy to University of Missouri at Rolla, University of Missouri--Rolla and now Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Yearbooks (Special Collections)
The Rollamo is the Missouri University of Science and Technology's Yearbook. The intent of the the Rollamo is to preserve the events of each academic year, and to convey why each year is unique and important to the university's history. Rollamo encompasses every facet of life at Missouri S&T: academics, activities, organizations, sports, and student life beyond the university. It is published each summer for distribution in the fall.
