ANTEC 2011
Abstract
The 2011 Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC) of the Society of Plastics Engineers was held in Boston, Massachusetts, US, from May 2-4, 2011. the event was well attended, with a worldwide audience for 103 podium sessions with over 600 presentations. Eight additional interactive sessions included another 93 poster presentations. New Technology Forums focused on Polymers in Solar and Flexible Films, Polymers in Health Applications, and Advances in Anti-Microbial Technologies for Plastics. the ANTEC Exhibition floor was expanded with eighty-three exhibitors representing the broadest sectors of the plastics industry. Nicole Larson of the University of Western Washington presented a paper titled Lowering the Surface Energy of Silicones in the Polymer Modifiers and Additives session.
