Cyber-Physical-Social Convergence in Smart Living: Challenges and Opportunities
Abstract
This keynote presentation will highlight the unique research issues and challenges in the emerging field of smart living and cyber-physical-social systems, and also discuss novel solutions to address some of these challenges. The proposed solutions will be based on a rich set of theoretical and practical design principles, such as situational-aware data collection and fusion algorithms, uncertainty reasoning and information-theoretic results, context-aware models, game theory, trust models, graph theory, and stochastic optimization. Illustrative examples, applications, and experimental results will be provided where possible. The presentation will be concluded with directions for future research collaboration.
