Web Evolution Management: Detection, Monitoring, and Mining
Abstract
We present an overview of a tutorial on Web evolution management - an approach to solve the management of dynamic nature of the Web. Web evolution management defines a set of techniques for detecting changes to Web data, monitoring these changes, and mining interesting patterns by analyzing evolutionary features of the data. This tutorial offers an introduction to issues related Web evolution management and a synopsis of the state of the art. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
