Design
The S&T Writing Center's clothing ensemble for the Trashion Event is symbolic of multifaceted services. The cape, made primarily of old student essays, shows that we offer complementary warmth to writers through our friendly and encouraging feedback. The britches pieced together with old writing handouts reflects that we all benefit from more direct guidance from time-to-time (everyone needs someone to show them how to put on pants for the first time); additionally, the pants have a drawstring that reflects that our services can adjust to the writer.
