Abstract
"Description of the Zinc Works. The "Glendale Zinc Works" are situated in the southern part of the city of St. Louis, on the line of the St. Louis Iron Mountain and Southern R. R. and among the iron manufacturing districts they are the only zinc works now in operation and produce a large quantity of spelter"--page 2.
