Abstract
"My aim in writing this thesis has been to give a clear and concise picture of the Plant, its construction, operating experiences, results and the need for sewage treatment. For this reason, I have incorporated much information, which, while not dealing directly with the subject in hand, is closely allied to it and forms a very necessary background. As the Sanitary District considers its actual operating results confidential, I have refrained from including them. Much useful information can be derived from a careful study of the photographs and drawings included"--page ii.
