Coherence Analysis of the He 1s4f State

Abstract

In this paper, we present the first theoretical calculation of the Stokes parameters for the singlet-triplet mixed 1s4f state of helium, which is excited coherently by electron impact. Satisfactory agreement with recent measurements is obtained.
