Effects of Electron-Electron Interaction in Ionization by Structured Particle Impact
Abstract
Full and reduced four-body classical trajectory Monte Carlo methods are used to calculate the cross section of projectile ionization in the H + H collision system. The interplay of interactions by treating separately the two-center electron-electron (e-e) interaction and the electron-nucleus (e-n) interaction is reported. We find large differences in the shape and the asymmetry of the electron loss peak using the full and reduced four-body systems. © 1995.
