Abstract
The x-ray scattering by a tunnel-model liquid is calculated and the resulting expression for the intensity inverted to give the liquid radial distribution function based on such a model. These functions are presented for liquid argon at 91.8 and 84.4°K and agree well with those obtained by the usual inversion method, but with increased peak resolution.
