Optical Properties of the Metals AL, CO, CU, AU, FE, PB, NI, PD, PT, AG, TI, and W in the Infrared and Far Infrared
Abstract
Infrared Optical Constants Collected from the Literature Are Tabulated. the Data for the Noble Metals Ar Al, Pb, and W Can Be Reasonably Fit using the Drude Model. It is Shown that —E1(Ω) = E2(Ω)C0p/(2ω2) the Damping Frequency Ω =ωT.Also –E1(ΩT)-(1/2)E1(0), Where the Plasma Frequency is Ωp. © 1983, Optical Society of America.
