Spectroscopy of the 6p_3/2np States of Barium

Abstract

The 6p_3/2np states of barium have been observed for n values between 14 and 21. The energies, linewidths, and transition strengths have been measured and characterized in terms of one- and two-electron interactions, using a single-configuration approximation.
