Publication Ethics – Philosophy and Urban Affairs
Philosophy and Urban Affairs is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical practice in scholarly publishing. All authors, editors, and reviewers are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, transparency, and professionalism throughout the submission, review, and publication process.
Authors must ensure that their work is original, properly cited, and not submitted elsewhere. Any conflicts of interest or funding sources should be disclosed, and authors should report any errors discovered after publication promptly. All manuscripts undergo peer review, and reviewers are expected to provide fair, confidential, and constructive feedback.
Editors are responsible for making decisions based on scholarly merit and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring impartiality. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, or other forms of research misconduct. Corrections or retractions may be issued if errors or ethical issues are identified.
Philosophy and Urban Affairs follows the principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). For more information, please visit COPE Guidelines.
