Description
67P/Churyumov—Gerasimenko is a Jupiter Family comet that originated in the Kuiper Belt. We observed six volatile compounds using IRTF on Mauna Kea. We report the volatile compound abundances of OH, H2O, NH2, C2H2, HCN, and NH3 in orders 170, 171, and 172 of the comet’s spectrum.
