Gas Breakdown Initiation in Explosive-Driven Pulsed Power Systems: Phenomenon and Possible Mechanisms
Abstract
In this paper, we present a brief review of current studies of the electric-field-free gas breakdown phenomenon along with new experimental data. Possible mechanisms for this phenomenon in explosively driven generators are proposed. © 2012 IEEE.
