Enhanced Optical Forces in Hybrid Plasmonic Devices
Abstract
We demonstrate that the optical force exerted on a suspended dielectric waveguide coupled to a metallic substrate is greatly enhanced compared to dielectric substrate, due to subwavelength optical energy confinement in the hybrid plasmonic mode. © 2012 OSA.
