On Exergy Losses in AMR Hydrogen Liquefiers
Abstract
This paper reports on exergy losses and some performance features of a three-stage active magnetic regenerative (AMR) hydrogen liquefier in which the effects of material bed size, helium flow rate, heat exchanger parameters and magnetic field strength are examined. Results are presented in terms of the cooling capacity and one-cycle exergy losses for the different stages. © 1994.
