On The Validity Of The Narrow Band Approximation
Abstract
The accuracy of the narrow band approximation is estimated. It is shown that, in order to assess the accuracy of the approximation, not only the form of the source function but also the form of the integrand is required. The accuracy is improved when the integrand is symmetric. © 1971.
