User-Friendly Interactive Computer-Aided Design of Four-Bar Based Linkages
Abstract
This paper discusses the implementation of computer graphics to assist in the design of some four-bar based linkages. The capabilities include the design and analysis of four-, six-, and eight-bar linkages. This paper includes a brief review of the numerical solution method, a discussion of the salient program features and an eight-bar linkage application, used as an example for demonstration purposes.
