Abstract
Mixed convection heat transfer results for two-dimensional laminar air flow in a vertical duct with a backward-facing step are presented. The effects of Grashof number Gr s, expansion ratio R, and Reynolds number Re s on the Nusselt number, the wall friction coefficient, and the reattachment length are reported.
