Severe Plastic Deformation Processing and High Strain Rate Superplasticity in an Aluminum Matrix Composite
Abstract
An ultrafine grained aluminum matrix composite was successfully processed by severe plastic deformation (SePD) technique. The SePD processed 2009 Al-SiCw composite was found to exhibit high strain rate superplasticity.
