Single Chamber Solid Oxide Fuel Cell - Investigation of Cathodes
Abstract
Recently the single chamber solid oxide fuel cell has been receiving attention because of its potential of being a simpler design than the conventional double chamber arrangement In this paper a study on influence of sintering temperature of different cathode materials is reported. The cell was constructed from the typical cathode materials: strontium doped samarium cobaltite, strontium and cobalt doped lanthanum ferrite and strontium doped lanthanum manganite together with yttrium stabilized zirconia as electrolyte and nickel cermet as anode are studied.
