Abstract
"The overall objective of this thesis work is to improve system power quality with the help of solid state transformers (SSTs). Two methods to improve the system power quality are explored: a) achieving a unity power factor at all the load buses, and b) improving the system voltage profile to meet a desired voltage regulation requirement of 0.95
