Masters Theses
Abstract
"This thesis is on the investigation of corrugated light-gage steel sheets used as the tension reinforcement for concrete slabs. The steel sheets used had embossments placed at uniform intervals over the entire length of the sheets. The composite concrete and light-gage deck steel were tested to determine a method of design for this type of composite section from an economical, safe and practical standpoint. The investigation covered the flexural, shear and bond capacity of this type of composite section"--Abstract, page ii.
