Abstract

"A brief introduction to the concept of a traveling-wave field-effect transistor is presented. Analytic solutions for certain lossless and lossy special cases are derived and a numerical method for solution of the general case developed. A possible computer program for implementing this numerically is given and utilized to compare the traveling-wave transistor to a conventional field-effect transistor amplifier"--Abstract, page ii.
