Abstract
"A method for analyzing single and multi-span gabled frames using analysis charts is presented. This method requires considerably fewer computations than methods previously used (such as the moment distribution and slope-deflection methods). Analysis charts are presented for single gabled frames having fixed or pinned ends at ground level, and charts are also presented which can be used to efficiently analyze multi-gabled frames.
The data for the analysis charts were obtained using matrix techniques in conjunction with the digital computer. These techniques are described"--Abstract, page ii.
