Abstract
"The velocity distribution in a cylindrically bounded region of water induced by a submerged axisynnnetric jet of water, has been investigated. Velocity profiles at successive levels were constructed. The continuity equation was shown to be only approximately verified by the velocity profiles.
The kinetic energy for each level was computed and given mathematical expression"-- Abstract, p. 2
