Abstract
"The quantity and quality of streamflow data available on small watersheds in Missouri has improved in the last ten years. However, it will be years before there is sufficient data on both the large and small watersheds to enable investigators to conduct extensive studies in the state. This study of 70 small watersheds within the state of Missouri presents a technique to estimate the discharge from watershed of 25 square miles or less...Results from this study may be used in the design of small hydraulic structures such as culverts, bridges, and dams for small reservoirs"--Abstract, page ii.
