Masters Theses
Abstract
"The purpose of this thesis is to design an artificial dielectric slug to match a horn in a media such as water and to discuss a method of determining experimentally its dielectric properties. The design is based on known artificial dielectric methods. The method of determining the dielectric properties is by microwave waveguide reflection techniques. This thesis deals with the theoretical aspects and suggests an experimental method of determining the practicability of such a matching method"--Abstract, page ii.
