Masters Theses
Abstract
"Developed in this thesis is a new method of secondary voltage control. In this method, the information available to the automatic voltage regulators is the voltages of a small set of buses in the system called pilot buses. The information from the pilot buses is then used in a hierarchical control structure to reset the voltage set points of the AVRs. System voltage stability can be improved by this method, which can be shown by the critical eigenvalues of system Jacobian"--Abstract, page iii.
