Abstract

"The design of non-composite plywood sheet on cold-formed steel deck for non-uniform loads is currently limited by a lack of understanding of their actual behavior during realistic conditions. An experimental investigation was conducted at the University of Missouri-Rolla to study the behavior of and develop a design methodology for steel deck with a plywood sheet application that is subjected to a concentrated load"--Abstract, page iii.
