SCADA system vulnerability analysis using command data packet manipulation attacks
Abstract
"Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) networks have revolutionized the industrial automation business. They have various advantages, including monitor and control of the state of remote field equipment, flexibility and optimization of the process they control, increased and better quality control leading to homogeneous products, minimum downtime, etc...This research work was able to uncover some of the vulnerabilities in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)"--Abstract, page iii.
