Integrating axiomatic design and robust design

Abstract

"In this thesis, three publications are presented that evaluate two design methodologies, Robust Design and Axiomatic Design, and give a detailed comparison of both methodologies. The comparison lies on the fundamental presumption that both the design methodologies address the system Concept Design as well as Product Design"--Abstract, page iv.
