Abstract

"In order to correctly analyze a signalized intersection, it is very important to estimate different parameters from the field. Queue clearance time is one of these parameters. It is a significant factor for estimating the left turn adjustment factor, which is in-turn used to calculate saturation flow rate, used for estimating delay for the analysis of signalized intersections...The purpose of this study is to compare four different models found in literature pertaining to this study, for calculating queue clearance time."--Abstract, page iii.
