Synthesis and characterization of malic acid capped peptides
Abstract
"Hetero-oligomers of amino acids and HMB are expected to provide a feed supplement with higher bioavailability of amino acids to ruminants. The synthesis of HMB and Lactic acid protected amino acid oligomers have been demonstrated in our lab. The prupose of this particular study was to extend this to other α-hydroxy acids.--Conclusion, page 66.
