Masters Theses

Quantum transport in irreducible three-terminal networks with fractional charge

Keywords and Phrases

Quantum entanglement

Abstract

"In summary, this thesis undertakes a detailed study of irreducible quantum network structures which is an example of tight entanglement. Several new concepts including a 2-D Brillouin zone, fractional charge, etc. are introduced. Various schemes to obtain wave vector values are explained and used, established concepts like Buttiker symmetry rule is expanded and generalized. This thesis and the results in it can thus serve as a helpful reference and foundation for further research on the quantum entanglement."--Discussion of Results and Conclusions, page 85.
